How do I add it?

Use Add in ChatGPT. Turn on developer mode, create a personal plugin, paste the MCP address and choose Connect. Then sign in to your account, subscribe if needed, and sign in at Fortnox.

What is developer mode?

In ChatGPT on the web: Settings, Security and login, turn on Developer mode. It is available for Plus, Pro, Business, Enterprise and Education, not Free. You can then create a personal plugin under Plugins. On some accounts this sits under Work.

Do I need an account?

Yes. You create a Cashlight Connectors account. It is separate from Fortnox. Adding the plugin in ChatGPT by itself does not grant access.

The monthly price is shown on the account page and comes from Stripe. You cancel the subscription on the account. If you have Cashlight, access can be granted without a second Stripe subscription.

No. You sign in directly at Fortnox. We never receive your password. You can turn the connection off in Fortnox whenever you want.

Revoke access in Fortnox. ChatGPT can then no longer fetch data for that company.

The sign-in is stored so the connection works. Fortnox data is fetched for the calls you approve. Short technical logs may be kept for security. See the privacy policy for more.

Fortnox sometimes groups permissions so one item covers both reading and writing. ChatGPT still only reads. It cannot change anything.
